This second sheet is referred to as a “top sheet”. Bed sheets should give your bed nothing less than an elegant, comfortable feeling, but just how do you shop for good quality bedding and is it as simple as the higher cost guaranteeing the best linen? Remember, bed sheets are a critical factor in feeling the quality of your bed, and as we spend on average one third of our life there, we may as well make it as comfortable as possible, so buy good quality linen. Cotton is by far the most popular material because it is snuggly in the winter and cool in the summer (although they have to be warmed up in the winter first). In addition, many manufacturers have begun to produce flannel comforters and blankets to match the patterns on the sheets.
